By combining a passion for underwater photography with the drive to advance the digital revolution, The CrypticReef Project, a NFT collection, aims to bring utility to art collectors through conservation and phygital ownership; with the added benefit of being in the form of a transferable digital asset.

Conservation

Coral reefs are the most beautiful and magnificently diverse marine ecosystems on earth. To ensure the eco-sustainability of these habitats we must all do our part.

This is where the magic of “crypto” comes in. The power of a NFT lies in its ability to be a digital contract allowing for royalties, including donations, to be programmed into every transaction, in perpetuity. Each time a CrypticReef NFT is sold, both initially and with all subsequent sales, a percentage of the profit will be donated directly to a reef conservation non-profit. In this way each and every CrypticReef NFT owner will be helping to preserve and rebuild the world’s tropical reefs.

Phygital Art

Each NFT depicts a photo of unique members of the coral reef ecosystem in a stylized PhotoArt format and will be minted as a 1 of 1 NFT. The holder of a CrypticReef NFT will be eligible for giveaways and discounts on prints of the NFT on the CrypticReef Website.

Utility

Owners of a CrypticReef NFT will unlock exclusive benefits. In addition to making a contribution to reef conservation and being able to commission physical art pieces to display in your home, office, gallery, or business, CrypticReef NFT holders will enjoy discounts at partnering reef-conscious businesses around the world. This utility will provide plenty of incentive to hold on to your NFT, but when it’s time to sell, this utility will add to its value in addition to its collectible value.
